Customer-beta candidate

A second copy you control.

Cloud files need a second home.

Tare7 Vault gives a customer-controlled computer a synchronized copy of supported uploads, verifies every object, and keeps a recovery path outside the primary cloud storage account.

What the add-on does

Synchronize. Verify. Recover.

Vault is not a generic folder sync. It knows which Tare7 object each file belongs to, confirms the bytes that arrived, and keeps recovery auditable.

A local copy

Supported customer uploads are copied to a designated desktop computer instead of existing only in the cloud.

Proof, not assumption

The manifest, object metadata, and hashes are checked so a green status means the copy actually matches.

A rehearsed restore

Dry-run, upload, finalize, cleanup, and audit steps turn recovery into a workflow rather than an emergency guess.

Designed for trust

The desktop is a recovery device—not a back door.

  • Device credentials are stored with macOS Keychain or Windows DPAPI, not in the renderer or a config file.
  • Device registration, heartbeats, downloads, restore attempts, and revocation are audited.
  • Tenant binding, rate limits, signed grants, path validation, and explicit device revocation are enforced.

Availability and pricing

A paid resilience add-on—not a hidden plan requirement.

Vault is built as an optional entitlement for any tier. Final public pricing will be announced before any customer is activated, after signed desktop installers and the customer recovery drill clear the remaining release gates.

This also keeps the core Tare7 subscription affordable for businesses that already have their own storage-protection process.
